Ahh, my first combat skill cape. So pretty. It took many world hops to get away from rangers, mages and melee'ers to have at least 2 lessers to myself. I didn't let anything ruin this wonderful moment.
Thanks:
Skychi, maxboison, Shysteph and Dudefish 15 - your RuneScape videos staved off the insanity.
Drunken Dwarf - for bringing the beer
Sandwich Lady - for bringing sandwiches
My husband - for entertaining me late at night
Kayla,
I have asked you to leave me alone. Not once, but many times. I have done what I can to cut you out of my life.
You keep coming back.
Don't talk to me.Don't PM in game. Don't join my chat channel. Don't follow me around. Don't email me. Don't MSN me.
Leave. Me. Alone.
Anything you do to contact me after this post will be documented and construed as stalker behavior.

I'll be ending this day with 300k exp to go until 99 magic. Lessers are getting a bit crowded, what with the weekend (no school). I'm planning on getting 99 at the snowy area where you end up after sledding from Troll Romance. A detailed description of where that is follows. Go to the the Trollweiss/snowy hunter area north of the rock crabs east of Rellekka. Just before Olaf and his fire, there should be a cave opening with dwarf statues on either side of it to the east. It's the red exclamation point on your mini map and is the way to get to Keldagrim. As you enter, there will be trolls on your right hand side. Run passed the trolls until you come to the end of the tunnel and a set of stairs. Go up the stairs and that's the place I'll be. Should I be lucky with training, I'll have the cape tomorrow!
Another note - I've opened up my clan chat. Come in if you want.
I'm thinking about doing a podcast.
I'm thinking of getting my 99 screenie somewhere other than where I am now. Maybe the end of the sled run (from Troll Romance) or in the mages' guild basement to save a trip. I'm going to think on it tonight and decide in tomorrow's post.
I've cast 8k Fire Waves. Wow. Only - as I write this, I get a genie lamp lol - 851,407 exp to go.
He was a lonely widower with a son AWOL from the army. I was a seasoned adventurer willing to bring a misguided youth back on track. Together, we shared an afternoon of bliss. Two years later, I am still the best he's ever had.
Bow chika-wow-wow, chika-wow-wow. Bow chika-wow-wow, chika-woooow
I completed the super-easy new quest. I enjoy FedEx missions like this. Bit annoyed at the global warming crap included, but what can you do when you live in a shoe?
I have 2 law tiaras now. :D The best single update this week. It's been so bothersome to only have 1 law tiara/talisman when you can have multiples of the other runecrafting talismans (talismen??). After getting my magic training out of the way (120k to 98, will have level tomorrow *dances*).
I also traded in some summoning pouches (mith minotaurs and fruit bats) to Bogrog at the ogre summoning shop at Gu'Tanoth. I got a message that I could get 91 shards back for each fruit bat pouch when I got 73 summoning. I do plan on training it and it is a real money-eater skill. It can be out of the way to get to him though. The cats got a makeover today, so I yoinked Slash out of the bank and gave him a look-see. He's totally awesome; sleek and cat-like instead of blocky. He bounds and walks like a cat should and I could really give him a belly rub when he demanded asked. I did a quick reccy of the bonegrinder which is supposed to be easier when grinding down silver bars and I wanted to know if that applied to bones, too. It doesn't. :( I've never ground any silver bars, so I don't have any idea how hard it is to do, but it certainly can't be any harder than grinding bones.
Got a lot of magic exp today, about 400k I think. I used 4500 Fire Waves and 150 Tele Grabs. The rune mediums were not fast this time. I only netted 6 in 7 hours of play.
Yeah, 11M exp is neat to see. Not as neat as 10M, but still neat.I've got 700k exp left to 98. I've gotten into the Zone of maging lessers. I met some nice people, too. One guy invited me to magic black dragons, but I declined because I had none of the "proper" gear (re: range and anti dragon shield).
I'm going to tentatively say I'll have 99 magic next Monday (May 12).
That you've been RickRolled by a blog post.
I had to move to a super secret location for my mage training. Here I only had to world hop 6 times. I got 90 hitpoints early this afternoon after much deliberation of the best spell to train with.I chose Fire Wave.
It's all down hill from here. ^_^ Only 2,341,407 exp or about 37,000 Fire Waves to 99 magic. This level came about 5 minutes ago. One of the black knights kept breathing down my neck like an obscene phone caller. Have they never seen women before? Proof that I am dead sexy. Raow!
The below post is a semi-table of the notes I've been scribbling while finding a cheap, efficient method of leveling magic. Gold cost per spell is subject to change due to GE fluctuations. Gold price includes buying all the runes/bananas needed for the spells. If you choose to use an elemental staff to substitute for certain runes, the cost per spell will be cheaper (in the long run). Ex: casting Humidify would be best done with a steam battlestaff, thus only costing 200 gp for the astral rune.
* elemental staff/battlestaff may be used in place of elemental runes (air, earth, water, fire, lava, mud, steam)
Ancients
- requires completion of Desert Treasure, wield an ancient staff (80k) for auto casting
Ice Burst = 2 deaths, 4 waters, 4 chaos
1280 gp/cast
40 xp base + damage (x2)
Ice Barrage = 4 deaths, 6 waters, 2 bloods
1927 gp/cast
52 xp base = damage (x2)
*Lassar Teleport (ice mountain) = 2 laws, 4 waters
668 gp/cast
82 xp
Lunar
- requires completion of Lunar Diplomacy for most, Dream Mentor for all spells
*Humidify = 1 astral, 3 waters, 3 fires
284 gp/cast
65 xp
*Magic Imbue = 2 astrals, 7 waters, 7 fires
596 gp/cast
86 xp
*Catherby Teleport = 3 astrals, 3 laws, 10 waters
1670 gp/cast
92 xp
Regular
- Chaos gauntlets add +3 to damage with bolt spells
- Confuse, Weaken and Curse spells are typically cast wielding a mud staff and in armor that gives negative magic bonuses, such as full iron, in order for the spell to fail which causes splash damage. The point behind this is to cast as many of these spells at one target as often as possible. When splash damage (failure) happens, you can cast the spell on the same target again and again until the spell is effective.
*Curse = 2 waters, 3 earths, 1 body
94 gp/cast
29 xp
*Fire Bolt = 1 chaos, 3 airs, 4 fires
245 gp/cast
21.5 xp base + damage (x2)
*Fire Blast = 1 death, 4 airs, 5 fires
421 gp/cast
34.5 xp base + damage (x2)
*Fire Wave = 1 blood, 5 airs, 7 fires
462 gp/cast
42.5 xp base + damage (x2)
*High Alchemy = 1 nature, 5 fires
355 gp/cast
65 xp
*Camelot Teleport = 1 law, 5 airs
385 gp/cast
55.5 xp
*Ape Atoll Teleport = 2 laws, 2 fires, 2 waters, 1 banana
- requires completion of Monkey Madness and Recipe for Disaster: Saving Awowogei
658 gp/cast
74 xp
Magic Dart (aka Slayer Dart) = 1 death, 4 minds, Slayer Staff
- requires 55 slayer in addition to 50 magic
343 gp/cast
30 xp base + damage (x2)
Yay, I can make all the gold charm creatures. :) I'm down to 5k hitpoint exp and 180k magic exp for levels. I'm also dead out of death runes, too. Tomorrow I farm and runecraft and not mage greaters. Had to hop 17 times to get away from the rangers. They all look alike: ranger void. Only differences were the range method of choice - bone crossbow or MSB.
I'm certain to be using many magic attacks to get the cape since I'm saving chaos and blood along with making death runes. I also have a shitload of jewelry to make and alch.
Why do I want this 99? For selfish and silly reasons, of course. This will be my first maxed-out combat skill. The cape is a pretty blue/white color.Nothing big about it.
On RSC, someone is whining talking about their "addiction" to RS and how the game ruined his life, grades and vision. I read through the whole post, which I typically don't do with posts that I find ridiculously ignorant. May be I'm old and able to do some things others can't. I can look outside myself, look objectively at my situation, to see what is wrong. Are you so sure RS is your addiction? Is it the computer instead? Has there been any major changed in your life the passed 6 months, such as a death, divorce, loss of friendship, abuse? It's quite logical that at 13 y/o, puberty or "raging hormones" has hit you and that can make a person act very differently.
Ignore all that crap, though. I'm just venting random things to ease my blood pressure.
