Marlaine: Boom - This game calls to you when you think you are nuthin’ but sick and tired of it! Even I have been “called back” when I wanted to quit about 3 years ago and it wasn’t even that complicated yet! I have seen soooooooooo many people leave and then a month later, return, sorry that they got rid of all their member stuff. Shrugs - you might want to come back……. I’ve heard stronger irritation towards the game from people who quit and came back!Huh ? I was talking about Cortex Command.On first sight, its 2D pixel graphics seem unwelcoming but don't let it fool you.It has an incredibly realistic physics engine that is impossible to replicate in 3D , even with the strongest of machines.A simple strategy game with addicting gameplay.Story Summary:

Empath is having a lot of problems with his computer and several sites, such as Photobucket, Hotmail and Yahoo!. He wiped out his cookies in order to clear this, but all it’s done is nothing. He can’t check his emails or upload pictures or write a scathing post about this crap in his blog because he can’t log in to many sites or they just refuse to load.

We're driving by a cell phone business and they have one of those black billboards on the side of the road proclaiming: 2 MTHS FREE! I knew what they *meant* (months), but I like reading abbreviations as they are because it's funnier. MTHS said as is makes Myths and that lead me to the tv show Mythbusters (which totally rocks!). We'd recently seen the 2 hour, super-sized Mythbusters special where Adam and Jamie (and Tory, Grant and Kari)pick 4 myths to play with getting the results of the myths instead of figuring out if it's possible to do. As far as I know, there isn't a Tory Belleci band-Aid fund in existence; I made it up.

So here’s an interesting little tale. This guy Andrew Baron sold his Twitter account on Ebay a few days ago. I don’t know how much he got for it but a blog that reports on Twitter doings reported that at one point the bid was up to $1,125.00 USD. As Andrew Baron had 1,636 followers, the blog notes that each of his followers are worth 0.69 USD at the very least.

Since I declared that 2008 was the Year Wil Writes Lots of Fiction, I've been . . . well, I haven't exactly been writing a lot of fiction. I've been trying to write a lot of fiction, but -- okay, let's just stop there and acknowledge what a lot of you are thinking right now: "Do or do not. There is no try."

Dad died last night. My sis called me this morning because it would’ve been around 2a my time. The funeral is tentatively scheduled for this Saturday do accommodate one of my uncles who is having surgery on Monday. I need to call a florist down there to get an arrangement sent to the mortuary. I hope sis found the Blues Brothers cd. Dad loved the Blues Brothers a lot and really enjoyed the movie and music. Hey, it’s a helluva lot better to hear John Belushi belting out Soul Man than some warbly soprano twittering Angel We Have Heard On High.

I have been thinking of adding a chat box here but I have to admit that my spammer list is soooooooooooo bad sometimes that I can hardly face looking at my comments. Just imagine what I’d get on the chat - dang! My highest spam count in my comments awaiting moderation (dang good thing I moderate them first!) was 367 in just the 9 hours my comp was off over night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Primefalcon and I are talking about adding a chat box on Runescape Registry Forums. We are also hosting a clan called The Nomads - Mod Tom is in charge of that.

Been doing my daily rounds plus some slayer. 190 Greater Demons. 2 clue scrolls. Nothing really exciting. Got some of the new clues which made me think more then I like.Otherwise, I've been experimenting with different outfits for range. Picked up a guthix coif as it's relatively cheap. Still recovering from all my recent deaths. Got everything either replaced, upgraded or scratched off the list other then Guthan's Spear and Helm. That'll be awhile.Otherwise, starting to think what my next big goal should be after all 80's. Either a skill cape or 2k levels (I'll get one on the way to the other, trying to figure out focus.)

My clan's raid to the God Wars Dungeon to kill General Graardor last week was highly successful, so another trip has been organized for this Sunday.Though not all trips there can get you a Bandos Chestplate, we only stayed to kill the general seven times on that day, almost immediately after picking up the drop. Assuming we aren't as lucky, we could probably stretch it to about 15 or so kills before running out of supplies, so we're bound (kinda) to end up with something good at the end of it all.I'm hoping that Blessings would have the decency to share food and potions. Taking up the role as tank once more, I'll be sipping up Saradomin Brews at a much greater rate than my other clan members.Anyway, I've managed to reach my short term goal of Level 70 Agility. I might not do away with the skill entirely; I've met a friendly group of people at the Ape Atoll Agility Course in world 46 and talking to them really helps pass the time.I also got two other level ups today in Crafting. I made an order in the GE to purchase 2500 pieces of Green Dragonhide Leather last night and sewed more than half of them this afternoon into Dragonhide bodies. I’m making a huge loss here, even after selling all of my handmade armour, but the exp's pretty good.I can now craft Dragonstone Necklaces!Might make another order in future. Two level ups for the win!Stuff achieved today: Level 72 Crafting, Level 70 Agility
